Amber Heard‘s family has grown — by two more! The actress, 39, has welcomed twins, who are her second and third babies. Heard is already mom to daughter Oonagh Paige, who turned 4 in April. “Amber is delighted to welcome the twins and complete her family,” a spokesperson for Heard tells PEOPLE. “Mama and babies are enjoying every minute. And Oonagh is happily running the show.” PEOPLE exclusively reported in December that Heard was expecting another child. When Heard revealed the birth of her first baby in a message on Instagram in 2021, the Aquaman actress explained that she’d “decided I wanted to have a child” four years prior and “wanted to do it on my own terms.” “I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way,” she wrote at the time. “I hope we arrive at a point in which it’s normalized to not want a ring in order to have a crib.”
After her legal battles with ex-husband Johnny Depp ended in 2022, Heard moved overseas to live a quieter life in Madrid, Spain. Heard told NBC News’ Savannah Guthrie in a June 2022 interview that she was looking forward to focusing on her family: “I get to be a mom, like, full time, you know? Where I’m not having to juggle calls with lawyers.. In 2023, director Conor Allyn, who worked with Heard on the thriller In the Fire, told PEOPLE that Heard was “living her best life in Spain with her daughter and just finding happiness in that way.” The filmmaker added that Heard is “such a dedicated mom” and “really good about making the time” for Oonagh.
