Macedonia registered 1,260,425 tourists in 2024, an increase of 91,695 (7.85%) compared to the previous year, according to data from the State Statistical Office (SSO). Tourism activity peaked in August, with 232,576 visitors, making it the busiest month. In contrast, February recorded the lowest numbers, with 44,224 tourists. Of the total, 830,179 were foreign visitors, while 430,246 were domestic tourists.
🇹🇷🇷🇸🇬🇷 In 2024, Macedonia’s tourism sector welcomed the highest number of foreign visitors from Turkey (284,406), followed by Serbia (72,338) and Greece (39,240).
